Pay the Company, Not an Individual

Payments for goods and services supplied by PoradaGroup are made to the official business bank account specified on the relevant invoice or proforma invoice issued by PORADA GROUP, MB.

We believe this is one of the most important elements of a transparent business transaction. A customer should know the legal entity receiving the payment and should have documentation showing what the payment relates to.

Payment Security Rule

PoradaGroup does not ask customers to send company business payments to a private individual's bank account.

If you ever receive different bank details or an unexpected request to change payment instructions, verify the information directly with PoradaGroup using the contact details published on poradagroup.com before transferring funds.

VAT Explained Clearly

VAT treatment can differ depending on the type of transaction, customer status, destination of the goods and applicable tax rules. The VAT treatment relevant to the transaction is reflected in the applicable commercial documentation.

STANDARD LITHUANIAN VAT RATE 21%

The standard VAT rate in Lithuania is 21% where the standard rate applies.

Not Every Transaction Is Taxed in the Same Way

Automotive trade can involve domestic Lithuanian transactions, customers in other EU Member States, exports outside the European Union and different types of services.

For this reason, PoradaGroup does not treat a foreign delivery address or the mere presentation of a VAT number as an automatic guarantee that a transaction will be invoiced at 0% VAT.

The applicable VAT treatment is determined according to the relevant transaction and the documentation available.

01

Lithuanian Transactions

Where Lithuanian VAT applies at the standard rate, the current standard rate is 21%.

The applicable VAT amount or VAT treatment is shown in the relevant invoice documentation where required.

02

EU Business Customers

In qualifying intra-EU supplies of goods, a 0% Lithuanian VAT rate may apply where the legal requirements are satisfied.

This can require, among other things, appropriate VAT registration information and evidence that the goods have been transported from Lithuania to another EU Member State.

03

EU Private Customers

VAT treatment for consumer transactions is determined according to the applicable EU and Lithuanian VAT rules and the circumstances of the particular transaction.

The customer receives the applicable pricing information before payment.

04

Exports Outside the EU

Qualifying exports of goods outside the European Union may be eligible for a 0% Lithuanian VAT rate where the statutory conditions and export-documentation requirements are satisfied.

Import duties, local VAT, customs charges or other taxes at the destination may remain payable according to the rules of the destination country.

Important VAT Information

A VAT number, foreign company registration or non-Lithuanian delivery address alone does not automatically determine the final VAT treatment. Additional information or supporting documentation may be required.

No Unexpected Material Changes

Automotive sourcing can involve supplier stock changes, changing transport costs, exchange-rate movements or availability updates.

Our approach is to communicate the commercial conditions available at the time the offer is prepared and to identify any material change that requires customer approval before proceeding.

We prefer a realistic quotation and clear communication over promises that cannot be supported.

Protection After the Purchase

Warranty rights depend on the type of customer, product, transaction and applicable law. Consumer statutory rights and commercial manufacturer warranties are separate forms of protection.

EU CONSUMER LEGAL GUARANTEE Minimum 2 Years

For goods sold to consumers in the European Union, mandatory consumer law provides at least a two-year legal guarantee of conformity.

Your Statutory Rights Come First

If goods supplied to a consumer are faulty, do not correspond to the agreed description or otherwise lack conformity, remedies available under mandatory consumer law may include repair, replacement, price reduction or reimbursement depending on the circumstances.

These statutory consumer rights exist independently of any additional commercial or manufacturer warranty.

Nothing on this page is intended to exclude or restrict rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

01

Consumer Purchases

Mandatory Lithuanian and European Union consumer protection rules apply where the purchaser qualifies as a consumer and the transaction falls within their scope.

Statutory rights are not replaced by shorter manufacturer warranty periods.

02

Manufacturer Warranty

Certain products may also benefit from a commercial warranty provided by the manufacturer or another guarantor.

Its duration, geographical coverage, conditions and claim procedure depend on the specific warranty terms.

03

Business / B2B Purchases

Business transactions are not automatically governed by the same consumer protection rules that apply to private consumers.

Applicable B2B warranty conditions may depend on the product, supplier, manufacturer and agreed commercial terms.

04

Specialist Automotive Products

Performance parts, motorsport components, electrical products, used parts and other specialist goods may have product-specific conditions or manufacturer requirements.

Relevant conditions are communicated where applicable to the particular transaction.

A Clear Claims Process

If you believe that a supplied product is defective, incorrect or does not correspond to the agreed specification, contact us with the transaction details as soon as reasonably possible.

01 Contact PoradaGroup

Send us the invoice or transaction reference and explain the issue.

02 Provide Relevant Information

We may ask for photographs, video, diagnostic information or vehicle details where reasonably necessary.

03 Technical Review

The available information is reviewed and, where applicable, further inspection or manufacturer/supplier assessment may be required.

04 Resolution

The appropriate resolution is determined according to applicable law, agreed terms and the circumstances of the claim.

INFORMATION THAT MAY HELP

Preparing a Claim

Providing complete information can help us understand and process a technical claim more efficiently.

Invoice or order reference Product / OEM number Vehicle VIN where relevant Description of the issue Photos or video Diagnostic report where appropriate Installation information where appropriate Date the issue was discovered

Correct Installation Matters

Many modern automotive components require professional installation, programming, coding, calibration, adaptation or diagnostic procedures.

We recommend that safety-critical, electronic, engine, transmission, braking, suspension and other technically complex components are installed by appropriately qualified automotive specialists.

Damage caused solely by incorrect installation, misuse, accident, external damage, improper modification or use outside the product's intended specification may not constitute a defect in the supplied product.

Business Should Be Clear Before Money Changes Hands.

Our goal is to make sure customers understand what they are purchasing, who they are paying, what documentation they receive, how the transaction is treated and what happens if a problem occurs.

Automotive sourcing and international trade can involve complex specifications, tax treatment, logistics and supplier conditions. Clear communication before payment reduces uncertainty for everyone.

If anything about a quotation, invoice, payment instruction, VAT treatment, warranty condition or product specification is unclear, contact us before making payment.

We would rather clarify a question before a transaction than leave uncertainty afterwards.

Questions Before Payment?
